I think children wait until they know you are about to leave town to get sick. Poor Audrey got the chicken pox from a little guy at school three days before we left for Vegas with Ryan and Traci. She ran a pretty high fever and was uncomfortable but other than that she handled them like a champ. Because babies can't get the vaccine until 12 months, she got a pretty bad case. Grace got a touch of them but only had a few spots and ran a little fever. I hated seeing her in pain but there is so little you can do at this age! She was such a trooper!
